✉️ Make sure not to miss our Wize Emails!

You may have noticed that there are instances when you’re not able to receive certain emails or that some emails end up on your spam folder.

At Wize, we often send emails to our network about our webinar schedules, special promotions, Ed’s weekly Friday Tip, and important appointments. However, some of these emails never get to our members’ inbox as they somehow get lost in the spam folder.

This is because email services such as Gmail, Outlook.com, and Yahoo! Mail block certain emails to protect you from unwanted or malicious emails such as phishing, scams, and spam. In some cases, they mistake emails that you really want for emails that you don’t want.

To make sure our Wize emails get through to you, we suggest whitelisting our email address. Here is a quick on how to do that for Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo! Mail:

👉 Whitelisting Using a Gmail Account:

  • Sign in to your account at Gmail.com.
  • Add our email address ([email protected]) to your Gmail Contacts. Google will usually deliver emails from addresses that are in your Contacts.
  • Mark our previous messages as ‘Not spam’

Create a filter to tell Google to whitelist email from wizementoring.com:

  • Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings
  • Click on ‘Filters and Block Addresses’ and then Create a new filter
  • Enter the domain (wizementoring.com) of the email you want to whitelist in the From field

👉 Whitelisting Using an Outlook Account:

  • Click on “Settings”, then “View all Outlook settings”.
  • Go to “Junk email”, then choose “Safe senders and domains” or “Safe mailing lists” to select the domain or email you want to whitelist.
  • Enter the domain name or email address you wish to add to Safe senders. Make sure to include the @ character for domain names in order to only whitelist emails with the exact string of characters you entered (and nothing more).
  • Alternatively, you can simply add an individual email address that has sent you an email to your Outlook Contacts.

👉 Whitelisting Using a Yahoo! Mail Account:

  • Navigate to "Settings" icon, then click "More Settings" from the Yahoo Mail menu.
  • Select "Filters" and hit "Add" to enter information about the domain name or sender.
  • From here, you can enter any string of text you want to whitelist in future emails. This could be anything from an email address or domain name to something you expect to be in the body of the message.

And that’s it! Thanks again for subscribing to our Wize Mentoring program. For any issues, email us at [email protected].
